Loss Adjuster – Desk to Field opportunity

The Role:

Following our recent merger with our sister company, Quadra Claims, we have created an opportunity for a Loss Adjuster at Graduate or equivilant level, with some Loss Adjusting experience, to manage a range of Commercial Property claims effectively, providing service delivery within clients SLAs

You’ll be joining our dedicated team of adjusters who have an extensive collective experience dealing with claims within these sectors, with many being named approved adjusters for several specialist nsurers and have a clear understanding of the different demands that such claims present.

Who we’re looking for:

This is an exceptional development opportunity, offering scope, full mentoring support and a defined career path for Adjusters aspiring to handle Commercial claims within a field-based role. 

During your development and mentoring, you’ll be exposed to challenging situations to help you gain the more in-depth experience and skills needed to become a fully qualified Commercial Loss Adjuster giving you the confidence to manage a full range of Commercial and Major Loss property claims effectively, providing service delivery within clients SLAs.

You’ll come from an insurance or loss adjusting background, with some relevant field based or advanced desktop experience in Loss Adjusting and be able to demonstrate a track record of providing excellent customer service.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Investigate and manage commercial property claims, which will increase in value and complexity as you progress
  • Prepare reports commenting in detail on all aspects of the claim, including policy analysis, quantum and future actions
  • Instruct and control claim related experts as appropriate
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with all interested parties, calculate and approve interim payments, preparing interim reports and other communication as required
  • Calculate and agree settlement of claims, and prepare final reports
  • Develop and nurture working relationships with existing clients and exceed their expectations
  • Ensures all activities and decisions improve the service provided for clients, building trust and respect by keeping to the commitments made

About you:

  • Previous Adjusting experience
  • Customer focus with a track record of delivering outstanding levels of service
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and take ownership of your own caseload of field-based claims, seeking assistance as necessary
  • Excellent organisational & communications skills
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to solving problems
  • Able to co-ordinate a variety of actions concurrently
  • Ability to work to given targets
  • Conscientious, hard working as well as flexible and adaptable during times of surge
  • Ideally have an insurance qualification and be willing to undertake further studies to become CILA qualified -full sponsorship provided
